Another great performance by Ivan Muhtarov and CROSS Big Foot 29" is a fact.
Over the past Saturday, 28 September 2014, was held the fifth round of the crosscountry marathon Murgash, which is taking place near the eponymous peak.
The start and finish were in the square in town Buhovo. The participants could choose of two routes 66 km in the standard class and 44 km in the hobby class.
A record number of participants (130 racers) attacked the peak Murgash (1687 m) on the southeastern mountain side, the total denivelation including the
main peak and two more heights was about 2500 m. The weather was great for cycling sunny and fresh, slightly windy on ridges.
The track was well marked and in most places it was dry, but there were areas with large mud puddles, a real test of the boldness and the technique of the marathoners.
There was a lot of climbing of various lengths and gradients (6%, 9%, 11%) and between them in places headlong downhill and sections with quite dug out
dirt road, but as the exception for slight relaxation there was even a short paved road section.
The whole this challenge Ivan ran over with his 29 inch wheels and again (in 2012 he also finished first here) he does not give a chance to his competitors in the class young men
up to 18 years and once again confirmed his reputation of a young, talented and efficient fast racer.
